Attorney Mariia Khorun discovered her passion for assisting entrepreneurs during her work at a specialized small business investment company (SBIC) licensed by the United States Small Business Administration (SBA). Now, a small business owner herself, she can identify and assist with various legal issues businesses may have.

Mariia is an active leader of the Ukrainian community of New York City and enjoys supporting US charities and local volunteer groups. She had a privilege leading international efforts to preserve a 300+ year old synagogue in Vilkhivtsi, Zakarpattia Oblast, Ukraine; assisting a US-based nonprofit with legal compliance pertaining to its international operations In Kyiv, Ukraine; leading a displaced Ukrainians assistance project sponsored by Mayor Eric Adams' grant in 2022 and 2023; and securing tax-exempt statuses for multiple organizations.

Mariia attended Duke University School of Law and Odesa Law Academy in Ukraine. She is an admitted attorney in the State of New York and at the United States Tax Court.

She is a proud Ukrainian American who lived and worked across the country prior to settling in New York City with her family.
